Here is my youtube video for these stock characters and The Doctor:

We had to devise a ten minute performance in groups of threes or fours, using some of Commedia Dell' Arte's stock characters. I played a Zanni called Paolo with a European accent, which got quite a few laughs, so I now know that this accent works well. I was told that I had good physicality and mask technique (I remembered to clock the audience i.e. react and then show the reaction to the audience). I must make sure that I keep working at this standard and I hope that my physicality can improve further. Later when improvising with the character Brighella, I used a Jamaican accent, which seemed to work well with the audience.

Then we attempted to learn acrobatics. I am now able to do a forward roll, but there are still some other acrobatics (backward roll into a handstand) that I could try to attempt. I must remember that for a forward roll, I have to tuck my head to my chest, bend my arms and then roll.
